Clarion Pointe

Stayed at Clarion Pointe during my trip to Carowinds and it was a great experience. Clean room, comfortable bed, and everything I needed for a relaxing night after a long day at the park. Simple, quiet, and solid for the price. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Room was very clean Stayed for one night traveling thru to Florida. Quite area little to no road noise. Plenty of clean fresh towels Plenty of amenities ie coffee pot, hair dryer fridge, microwave Even an ironing board and iron. Nice carpet in room and tile in entry and bathroom. I would highly recommend this hotel

The reviews really helped us choose the right place during the 3SSB Basketball Championship, and this hotel did not disappoint! The prices were reasonable, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The owner went above and beyond, from the moment we called to book until we arrived for check-in. I was genuinely happy to meet her in person after how helpful she had been over the phone. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something clean, welcoming, and budget-friendly.

Booked for a single night on the way through. Location worked great near the highway and restaurants super clean and friendly staff. The free breakfest was the only real negative but it was free. More of a light snack bar.

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The beds were comfortable and clean, but what we saw was a lot of condensation by the AC unit when we woke up. The room smelled fine, but if that condensation isn't addressed, we could see mold being an issue.

The hotel is actually nice in that it is newly remodeled and is clean. The rooms are also nice looking and clean. It felt safe. I rated it lower due to the musty smell and damp feel in our room. Unfortunately, this is a deal breaker for me. The air fresheners in lobby/breakfast area were off-putting and not a pleasant smell. The breakfast was nice for the price of the rooms. Overall, if the smells of our room and lobby were dealt with, this would be a lovely stay.

Clean updated rooms, no bugs. Area behind the hotel seemed to be possibly undesirable however there are woods that divide the parking lot from that. Decent beds. Overall very pleased! 20 dollar pet fee.

The room and price were great. Location and a continental breakfast were also great. The only flaw was that our floor was wet by the fridge. Both me and my wife stepped in it a few times. I did notify the front desk. Overall, the stay was pleasant.
